Fuze V1: RB 3.8 database only initialising from internal memory

Hello, my first post - first let me say thank you very much to all the developers for making this project available to all. For an old geezer like me, with many albums from the '60s with hard-panned stereo mixes, the crossfeed feature is a total godsend. So much so that I use my inexpensive Sansa mp3 players (a Clip+ and a Fuze V1) much more than my super-duper Cowon J3.

Anyway, I upgraded my 8GB Fuze V1 to Rockbox 3.8 to take advantage of the new album art implementation but when the database initialized it failed to read any of the files from the 16GB uSD card. I tried a database update but this failed too.

My files are 192kbps VBR mp3s with ID3v2.3 (ID3v1 ID3v2.3) tags tagged using mp3tag, with embedded album art.

If I browse by files I can see the uSD card and I can play the files on it.

One thing I noticed with V3.8, the Fuze takes approx 30 seconds to shut down whereas V3.7.1 shuts down almost instantaneously.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks again.

edit: I have reverted back to 3.7.1 which is working fine, but of course no album art.

I installed current build r29554 and this has cured my problem.
