How to recognize Clip+ as a drive
« on: March 04, 2011, 08:59:46 PM »
I installed Rockbox on my Sansa Clip+ using Rockbox Utility a couple of days ago. Everything worked fine. Today I wanted to install a couple of themes so I plugged the Clip+ into the computer like I did the other day. Last time when I did this, my computer recognized the Clip+ as an external drive (E:\) and I was able to select the drive in the filesystem in Utility. When I plugged it in today (on the same computer), it recognized the Clip+ as an installed device instead of a drive. What can I do to get it to recognize as a drive instead of as an install device? D: (Because installed devices don't have a drive letter for me to refer to.) Thanks a head of time!

Assuming you're asking about the original firmware, put it in MSC mode.

Thank you very much! Didn't know it was that easy.
