*PANIC* Updating reserved FAT entry

After upgrading my Sansa Fuze v2 to 3.8 I get this error. The only option is to switch the device off. What can I do?!
Post Merge: February 28, 2011, 05:51:33 AMfdisk found errors in the rockbox directory. I reinstalled, now I get an "Updating size on empty dir entry" error. Again, fdisk finds errors in the rockbox dir... I guess I'll try switching back to 3.7?

Same problem on my Clip+!!
So I'll go back tom 3.7.1, waiting better times!
The bug doesn't touch external memory (uSD)

All of my players ....Clip+ and Sansa E250s are fine so far after the uptade to 3.8 ....  when does this happen? ....  or does it happen only on first boot?  Is this happening on any other players??

For me it happened right at the first creation of the database. It stopped at a certain point and when I turned the player off and back on it was there...

for me it's the same problem! Database stop updating at a certain file and when I reconnect to pc, internal memory is corrupted (Scandisk find lost files)

I have a Gen 5 iPod Video and see the same problem.  Seems to hang while initializing the database for the first time rendering the installation useless.  Anyone have a link/directions to downgrade to 3.7.1?  I am having trouble tracking this down.  Thx!

Installing libfreetype6-dev got things back on track for me (Ubuntu server 8.04 386)

Convttf shouldn't automatically build now, so it won't prevent building Rockbox if you don't have those libs installed.
