Hi there,
I recently dug up the idea of replacing the HDD in my Vibe 500. Since it is very difficult to get a affordable 1,8" ZIF HDD, I was thinking about alternatives...
So, after quite some time, I found something quite interesting.
A adapter for a CF (Compact Flash) card to ZIF adapter. So I was wondering, if I could use this, to replace the HDD inside my MP3 Player. I found one for around 3,50$, so I would risk it.
I also found some other adapters, such as adapters for SD card, IDE and SATA harddrives. Since my MP3 players has no space for holding the adapters, I didn't take a deeper look, yet I was wondering about how well those would perform. Such adapters would make it considerably easy to use modern SSD HDDs. Anyone thoughts on that?
So long,
Kernle
