« on: February 23, 2011, 01:08:00 PM »
Can someone  please do me a favor and edit the code pages of Rockbox for the Sansa Clip plus and remove the Radio from the main menu.

Thank you,
A.Nirenberg (5800894@gmail.com)

Way back in your mind, somewhere, did you not have a thought that if you would read any of the stickies or read enough within this forum you would already have your answer?

Developers work on what they find lacking within the program and work on what they like. Requesting a general desire without taking the time to explain exactly why or how it would improve the Rockbox experience is, in my opinion pointless. Expecting developers to respond is wasting their time.

On the other hand, if there is a real need, post a patch.

There is no need for a patch; we aren't ever going to disable the radio in Rockbox.

Occasionally people pop up wanting to do something like this for their own reasons, and the answer is always the same.  The best thing to do is to get a build environment set up, and then someone can tell you what to change.  Someone doing a build for you isn't a long term solution, as they would need to do it again every time you wanted to upgrade.
