ipod nano 2g not recognized by itunes?

after i installed my ipod nano 2g with rockbox 3.7, my nano isn't recognized by itunes. i need itunes instead of drag and drop because itunes can convert my music 128kb/s. please help. thanks.

You might need to boot Apple's firmware for your player to be recognized as an iPod.

Are you trying to use iTunes with the Rockbox firmware (which won't work...) by any chance?
You'll need to boot into the Apple OF in order to use iTunes.
(Holding Menu or applying the Hold switch while booting will boot the Apple OF as outlined in the manual)
