How mpegplayer can play avi files ?

(1/1)

xXDestroyerGRXx:
Hello i am an ubuntu linux user and i want  to ask how mpegplayer can play avi files

AlexP:
It can't.  MPEG1 and MPEG2 only.

Strife89:
You can try installing WinFF to convert your videos so MPEGplayer can play them.

Open a terminal and type
--- Code: ---sudo apt-get install winff
--- End code ---
, press enter, and then type your password. Once it installs WinFF, look for it under Applications --> Sound and Video. Pick a preset for your DAP, add your videos, and hit convert.

You're on your own from there. Enjoy. :)

coachn:
What preset should i use for the Fuze v2?

Strife89:
The one for the iPod Color; their screens and the Fuzes' use the exact same dimensions.
