MP4 player on Sansa Fuze V2 missing?!?! No Video! Just Audio!
coachn:
I loaded up some .mp4 files (and one .mov by accident) on my Sansa Fuze V2 and went to play the .mp4 files last evening. All I got is audio with no video. I looked for the MPplayer plug in and couldn't find it in the plugin directory. (I thought the current build automatically installed this!)
Can someone please give me some constructive direction? Why is the video not playing? Why can't I find the MPplayer plug in? HELP!?

We don't have an MP4 video decoder, so you can't play MP4 videos.

Okay. That explains it. Thanks. I guess the next step is to convert the MP4 to another format that can play. From what I've read, would that be MP1 or MP2?
LambdaCalculus:
You can convert your videos to MPEG1 or MPEG2 with MP3 audio for playback in Rockbox.

Thanks.
(Now, where did I put that converter program...)
