e200 Series with 16gb Micro Card
« on: February 18, 2011, 10:05:57 AM »
It seems that my e260 v2 with Rockbox 3.7 would not run properly with a 16gb card. I received an error message as follows:
Panic: micro sd init failed : -2
Has anyone else experienced this problem? What's the largest card that this Sansa will work with without installing Rockbox?

I had previously used an e250r v1 with Rockbox 3.4 that worked great.

Now looking to buy another Sansa that'll work well with this 16gb card. Any suggestions as to which player I should buy?
Thanks!

If the AMS players don't work with your microsd card, I think that pretty much only leaves the e200v1 as an option.

AMS ==  all sandisk players that run rockbox except for the e200v1 and c200v1.
