CF Mod failed so far

I've tried to do the CF Mod on my iRiver H320, but no success.
Had a bit of trouble getting Rockbox onto the HDD but got there in the end.
However when the CF card goes in, I get a ATA error -80.
My PC detects the card fine, and will write onto it.

It's a Transcend 64GB card - has anyone else had problems with that brand?
