No Ipod Nano 3G Support

I looked at Rockbox at least two years back..  Within a few months of getting my Ipod Nano 3G.  I decided to take another look at Rockbox to see if there was finally support for the 3G only to find out after all the time the 3G has been out there is still no support for it.  Do you guys ever plan to make a release that does work on the Nano 3G?
