Tired of waiting for the OF database update ?

After you've completed your sync via OF, (In Windows) "Safely Remove Hardware" to complete any writing activity between OS and your device, then power down the device by holding the power switch until it powers off (~30 seconds).  No need to fill the device up, wait for a reboot, or reload firmware each time.

That's what I do, although I've never bothered with Windows' "Safely Remove Hardware".  I just wait 15 seconds or so after the file write completes and then power the Fuze down, disconnect it from the USB cable and power back up into Rockbox.
