Data abort at 00044130 (0) while building database
« on: February 02, 2011, 11:33:11 PM »
Hello. I have an ipod mini 1G with a 32gb flash card. I have a folder with 2200~ files (mp3, flac, some aac, etc.) This folder is constantly updated and half of the times something goes wrong while building the database. It gives the 'Data abort at 00044130 (0)' and I can't get anything done. To get Rockbox working again I have to delete the database files in the .rockbox folder and try again. Today, after adding some files, I haven't been able to get the database built after a lot of tries. It will drive me nuts. Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Under the debug menu, enable database logging, and then build the database.  When it crashes, see which file it was parsing.  If removing that file fixes the issue, please upload it with a bug report.

Today it happened again after adding some files. It wasn't correct to say that it happens when it is building the databse. It happens when I reboot after it is done (comitting databse it is called, right?)

Besides, I couldn't find how to log the database under debug :-\ Do you mind giving me instructions to do that?

Thanks!
