Disable EQ using config file

(1/1)

RandomFactor:
Apologies if this has been raised before but I can't seem to find the answer...

I recently created two themes for my iAudio M5 - one for when the player is hooked up to my amplifier and one for when I'm out of the house.  I have different WPS for each and can disable the bass setting automatically when I'm at home (along with other changes, such as scroll speed).

However, I cannot seem to find if it is possible to simply turn off the Equalizer via the config file.  I've attempted Enable EQ: 0 and EQ: 0 to no avail.  I suspect it's not possible.  Please prove me wrong!

DrewVosburg:

--- Code: ---eq enabled: off
--- End code ---

Thanks Drew,

Um,  I maybe should have tried that...

I'll give it a go later.
Post Merge: January 24, 2011, 05:27:18 PMAll working great. Thanks again!

p.s. are these additional config settings listed anywhere? I notice the text of the eq setting differs from that within Rockbox so they can't be inferred.
Post Merge: January 24, 2011, 05:42:20 PMoh, they were in the manual all along.

RandomFactor,

Yes, certainly...you may find them here.
This lists the configuration file settings, and their possible values.
