pacbox
« on: January 22, 2011, 09:56:43 PM »
I recently downloaded rockbox for my ipod nano 1st gen. when I was playing all the games I hit pacbox. I looked at the manual about it and it says I need pacman roms in a folder called pacman. So I got some roms and put them in a folder called pacman inside the folder .rockbox. And when I use pacbox it still says no roms in/.rockbox/pacman. I dont get what im doing wrong.

You need to dump the ROMs from your original Midway Pac Man game cabinet, anything else would be unlawful.

Please don't advertise unlawful actions on these forums.

So I went to some rom sites downloaded some roms...

The legality of this is very much up in the air, even if you do happen to own an original copy.
It depends very much on your locality in the world, and how far those laws have been pushed/tested.
As such, it is better to avoid the topic altogether.

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.
