Cuesheet Support not working
(1/1)
weissnich:
Hi,
i have an iHP-120 with Rockbox and a cuesheet and flac-file with the same name, the cuesheet-support is enabled and I can see the files when I click the cuesheet but I cannot play them.
The cuesheet is played with foobar, so it is ok, what have I done wrong?
bluebrother:
You don't play the cuesheet, you play the associated audio file (which needs to have the same basename as the cuesheet).
weissnich:
Ok, I thought this would work like in Foobar.
I click the associated audio file with the same name, but I don't see the list of songs,
I only can switch from song 1 to song 2, but not to song 3 and I don't have a menu where I can select the songs.
Is it better to have separated audio files, I think this cue support does not work as well as in foobar?

Why should it work the same way as any arbitrary software?

Please check the manual on how cuesheets are handled in Rockbox. I personally don't use them since I don't see much point in it given that there are audio formats out there that allow the files to be completely gapless, and Rockbox doing gapless playback.

This depends on what "as well as in foobar" does mean. Please check the manual:
