Mpeg player plugin

They do, the reason we use mpeg2 is that its pretty fast and gives good compression.

The video processor in the ipod video is undocumented, so we would have to reverse engineer it entirely from scratch using only the original firmware. Video processor chips like that are pretty complex and are hard enough to write drivers for if you *have* the documentation, so it's unlikely to happen unless someone makes a heroic effort (for what is, to a lot of users, a largely uninteresting reward) :)

Ahhh... I see...
Well, I was attempting to find use for this seldom used machine. I guess I'll have to be stuck with loss-less audio, free of iTunes hassle, chip-tunes, and re-encoded just to the right dimensions mpeg support. ;D
