« on: January 18, 2011, 06:23:03 AM »
http://themes.rockbox.org/index.php?themeid=896&target=ipodnano2g
I installed this theme on my Ipod Nano 2gen, but there is a bug: progress bar is not moving, during the song is playing. Progress bar is empty. What I should do ?

Seems like this might be a fluke.  Did you try downloading it again and reinstalling?  The .wps seems to be right...

This problem has been widely commented before, if you search the forums you'll find that the progress bar now has to be put within a viewport.

audio-i:

Did you have a look at the code? I don't think that it is this common problem here... what you say is only true if the WPS uses some viewport other than the default. If a theme draws everything into the default viewport, the progressbar should still work - and this theme here does. ;)

n1smo/audio-i:

If I saw correctly the problem is that the WPS sets the progressbar height to "1" while the bitmap is probably taller and my guess that simply finding out how tall it should really be (looking at the progressbar bitmap) and replacing with the real value should be enough. You would need to open the .wps file inside that ZIP in a text editor, look for the line starting with %pb and replace the single "1" in fourth position inside the braces with the height (in pixels) of the pb.bmp.

@pixelma, no, I just uploaded the theme to the simulator, saw that the progressbar was not showing at all (or so I thought), and figured it was yet another "progressbar not in a viewport" issue.

As you said, the progressbar height should be 16 pixels and it's 1.  Although it's a very simple change, I'm attaching the corrected wps

Looks like an effective way to get a lot of extra theme downloads, is uploading a version that doesn't fully work
