Unable to use positive dB values

I'm trying to use a %?pv conditional, but it won't let me do anything for the individual values above 1dB.  Any ideas?

In the normal conditional there's just an image for 0db, and then an image for all values over 0db. This is because 0db should be treated as "Full volume" and values over 0db, which may clip, often should show a warning image suggesting to users that they're going "too high" and may get distorted sound.

The %if tag is pretty useful, should shorten up some of my code and improve some behavior.
