Can you recommend bluetooth adaptor and headphones for ipod 5.5?

I am interested in getting bluetooth cordless headphones with a bluetooth adaptor/transmitter, for use with an ipod 5.5 running rockbox. Can anyone with experience recommend particular models?

As I understand it, for the adaptor I have two choices:

(a) an adaptor that plugs into the headphone audio-out socket, e.g. [1]
(b) an adaptor that plugs into the wide Apple ipod-specific socket at the base of the ipod, e.g. [2]

If you recommend (b), I'd also be interested to know whether the bluetooth adaptor will be charged by the ipod, and to have an idea of much power this drains. If (a), how long is the battery life of the adaptor?
