MpegPlayer no longer working on Sansa Fuze v2
Progweed:
I noticed that on all recent daily builds MpegPlayer freezes as soon as I open a file. The December builds work fine and I can see a lot of commits for this plugin in January. Did any of the recent code changes break compatibility with the Fuze?
Chronon:
Please file a bug report if none exists yet. If at all possible please try to locate which change caused this behavior.

I came to this forum and signed up to comment here and say that this is happening to me too, just as you describe. I have both V1 Fuzes and V2 Fuzes, and it's happening on both. It had to have started with a daily build in the past few weeks. I don't know exactly which one, but right now I'm running r29052-110114 on my Fuze V1's and 29051-110113 on my Fuze V2's. Both of them freeze within a second of playing a video file, but a few weeks ago, they played videos perfectly. I generally update to the latest build every day.
Should I submit a bug report too? How do I do that? Thanks.
Progweed:
Okay, I filed a report, here it is:

It's unfortunately not very precise, as I'm not sure when this bug was first exposed.

It seems unique to the AMS stuff as far as I can tell. I have quite a few targets based on other SoCs and haven't seen a problem. My Fuze v2 however (which I rarely even look at), trying to play Elephants Dream, it just freezes immediately. Could be something about the AMS PCM driver and its interaction with recent changes.
