If you download the font pack and extract it to your .rockbox directory on your iPod, you'll have a good number more fonts that you can look through.

One of them should resemble the iPod's OF font enough.

Drew93,

I hit this wall developing the iLike theme for Nano 1st/2nd Gen...there really isn't a font in the font pack that has the "Apple-esque" look, in the correct size.

A few are quite close though.

I ended up making my own set of anti-aliased fonts which I use for this purpose, obviously this requires a build with support for anti-aliased fonts though.

The problem is the spacing in the main menu, if the font looks right in the WPS, it will almost certainly look wrong in the main menu because the font in the Apple main menu has a considerable amount of ascent and descent added to it to make the line selector look good, without it the line selector looks way too thin and frankly a bit crap.

The way I got around that in the "standard" ( == non anti-aliased, the version on the theme site) version of iLike was using the closest font in the font pack, and adding ascent and descent to it manually using convbdf.

If you're looking for a theme which replicates the Apple OF to the best of it's ability then I can take the hard work out of it for you...

Just click the link at the bottom of any of my posts (including this one) and you'll be diverted to the iLike theme for Apple iPod Nano 1st/2nd Gen.

EDIT: The link will take you to the Nano 1st Gen section of the theme site, but don't worry about that...it's exactly the same theme as the Nano 2nd Gen.

EDIT 2: iLike - Apple iPod Nano 1st-2nd Gen just got a *MAJOR* update, so if you've downloaded it previously...it would pay to download it again.
Over the time I have collected many, many small revisions in my local copy of the theme, and I have just now synced the version on the theme site.

Enjoy!

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

I have the theme iLike since I have RockBox...a long time ... so that the issue is right now I put the right font, you told me that is similar. Now it is equal to normal OS = D. Missing only the piezoelectric sound of the menu ... continue to develop this wonderful project :)
