Trying to uninstall
wicked.ludicrous:
So this is how it went down:
Originally had Rockbox working fine. Decided I didn't want it
Then tried a simple format of my Sansa Clip Plus, thinking that it would delete Rockbox, which didn't work..
Realized that Rockbox and its Bootloader was still on the Clip plus
Installed Rockbox to make sure the Clip Plus recognized it fully
Tried Uninstalling the Rockbox
-------------------------------------
So that's where I'm having problems. Whenever I try to uninstall the Bootloader, I get a message saying that, 'Rockbox Utility can not uninstall the Bootloader on this target. Try a normal firmware update to remove the bootloader.'
But the original firmware is up-to-date; my Clip plus is on 1.02.15, or the latest.
How do I uninstall the bootloader and everything??
torne:
Don't use the Sansa updater, just use the same firmware file you downloaded during the install. Follow our manual bootloader install instructions to see where on the player you have to put it.

Wait, so do I have to put the bootloader file on the Clip?
I never followed these instructions: http://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-sansaclipplus/rockbox-buildch2.html#x4-140002.2.3

Why are you running that program? Just copy a sandisk firmware file to your player.
torne:
The file that the Rockbox bootloader install process generates is a modified Sandisk firmware (with our code patched into it). Just put an unmodified Sandisk firmware file in the same place and the player will install it just the same.
