I listen to a lot of podcasts.  i switched from default firmware so that i didn't have to update database all the time.  thing is when i turn off mp3 player it creates a bookmark but not when i navigate away from podcast.  i don't want to do this manually i want it to create a bookmark automaticaly when switching from podcast to music

tried that but it only works when i shut down the player not when switching from a podcast to a song
Post Merge: January 11, 2011, 04:11:51 PMjust found out i could hold down play button to create a bookmark.  does what i need but i would never have guessed that in a million years.   guess that will have to suffice

Yotto:
Holding down play (at least on my player) stops.

"Bookmark on stop" is an option that bookmarks when you stop.

That's why it's doing that. Its also how I've been creating bookmarks for years. It's nice to have an easy way to create bookmarks (stop track) and an easy way to NOT create a bookmark (play some other track).

but is there a way to make navigating to a song from a podcast count as stopping the podcast?
