Simple transition animation

I think all iPod models have the feature. I know it is not that necessary, but it will look much better. Also, I think the hardware can afford it while running Rockbox.

No. I *know* my Ipod Mini doesn't have this feature, and I think it's safe to say that at least all earlier models neither.

As long as it can be easily turned off and doesn't have any real downside to people who don't want it, this seems like a sensible enough idea.  Not sure how easy it would be to implement though.

That's another one of those things that isn't likely to really make sense until we have the ability to load multiple plugins.
