Odd playlist issues after 3.7 upgrade on 1st gen nano?
« on: January 07, 2011, 04:40:51 AM »
Hi folks,

Not posted here for a while but still a big fan of rockbox.

Since I upgraded to 3.7 (going to try 3.7.1) I have odd issues with playback sometimes. I'll create a playlist but when it gets to certain items the play list seems to disappear and it'll start playing the second track of an album?

Is this likely just because my 1st gen nano (now 6 years old) is past it or the software that's doing it?

Cheers :)
Paul.

Incidentally, this is the on-the-fly type playlist.

Is there any noticable pattern?  Are there certain steps you can give so that others can see if they can replicate the behavior?

It was always on one particular album so i wiped them all and put new ones on and it did it again. I've put 3.7.1 on now so will give that a go.

I'm wondering if part of the flash memory has gone a bit mad.

It might be prudent to check the filesystem for errors.
