Saving settings on SD card then installed in main memory (Cowon D2)

Isn't that would be nice if you have a bunch of SD cards with music in them?
You can install rockbox once in internal memory and then just move config files or save them without relaunching rockbox on new SD card.

I don't think anyone is working on the D2 port, but if they were we'd probably prefer them to finish getting write support so that the D2 worked like a normal player.
