New Inserted Version Of Album Won't Show Up

<< < (2/2)

Chronon:
Windows is probably putting the files in a recycle bin that's located on your player.  You can try the "disktidy" plugin to try to remove this and other unwanted files left over after a USB session.

Any reason you're storing the files in a hidden folder?

yeah i use windows, that's probably why. i will try disktidy and report back here.

isn't the music files by default stored in a hidden folder on the ipod for rockbox? when i wanna add flac albums i go to the ipod drive, go to the option in windows to show hidden files and folders, click on newly revealed "IPOD_Control", then into "Music" folder, and then paste the flac albums into that folder. when i disconnect the ipod i reinitalize and update the ipod and it shows the flac albums. for mp3 stuff or videos i add them using this program called Floola located at http://www.floola.com/home/. works pretty good together for me.

btw can you tell me how to delete files using the file browser? cause like i said i forgot. thanks.

Chronon:
You can put your FLAC files anywhere you like.  Rockbox's database will find and index them.  Putting them in a more convenient location also makes them easier to find in the file browser.

oh ok. i thought tho that you should put the flac albums with where the mp3 albums are stored in rockbox's folder on ipod. but actually i have no problem finding my albums both flac and mp3 on my ipod using rockbox. thanks for the tip.

thanks for the help pal. i was able to solve my problem. :)

Chronon:
I'm glad to have helped.  :)

Just as a note, Rockbox doesn't have any special requirements on where to store your files.
