Can't get album art to work.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I've of course tried many more examples of this. I put a .jpg or .bmp named album.jpg or bmp, and cover.jpg or .bmp and none of them worked. I know the problem isn't the formatting, because the basshunter album art didn't work as cover.bmp in the same folder.

I've read the manual, and tried to do some research, but it didn't help. What am I doing wrong?

Try simply:

Folder.jpeg/jpg

The others require you to match the metadata of the track exactly IIUC...which is a pain sometimes.
I use Folder.jpg simply because that's what the media player I use has as it's naming convention for album art and the images are already present in the album's folder so I don't have to do anything.

Thanks, I have no idea why folder would work but not cover. I read the manual, but the wiki was a little confusing, I guess I should take a closer look at it.

Edit: I figured out why it wasn't working. I was playing with the themes, and I guess I needed to reboot it to make the album art open.

When switching themes, album art should work without needing to reboot. I believe what happened to you is related to the bug described in FS#11749
