External card and File Browser.

Hello,

   The Database of my clip plus shows all my music, whether stored in internal memory or the external card.

The File Browser shows me the link to  the card ( <microsd1> ) and I of course can access the external card by selecting it.  But the music directory in the  File browser only sees the files in the internal memory but not the songs in the external memory.  Is that the way is supposed to work?

The music directory in the file browser shows the music you have put in the directory in the internal memory.
The <microsd1> is the external memory and shows all the files that are there on the external memory(in this case the microsd card).
That is the way it works. There is nothing wrong with it.

The database combines all the music on both the internal and external drive and shows it according to the tags(artist album etc)

  There are a lot of things about rockbox that I am still trying to understand.
