Chrome, Opera and IE have it on the left side here...weird.

I like how I just naturally looked to the left and didn't notice.

Added a comment with a recording of the file being played in rockbox and in the default firmware. I'll post it here as well.

Bump? Any other ideas other than just an odd player quirk?

Bump. Can you try a build with FS#12111 in? (dfkt has one posted over at abi>>.) That patch disables output mixer AGC, which may be responsible for this quirk.
