Disk Tidy not deleting custom added file types

Hi everyone, I'm new to RockBox, just got a Sansa Clip+ for Christmas, and I found this ;D. Anyway, I added .jpg to the <optional> files in the disktidy.config file and when I select the optional category and run disktidy, it says it finishes without deleting anything (I know there are jpgs because I have album art in there, which I want to get rid of to save space). I also tried to just access the files from my computer but I can't see any of the jpgs, just the music. Thanks in advance.

Is Rockbox showing the album art?

And, if so, could it be .bmp?

Well, I have a Clip+ so it doesn't actually display the pictures, which are JPEGs, but I can browse to them in the file manager of rockbox

Are they .jpg or .jpeg? And how are you confirming their format?

F. B. I. Guy:
they are .jpg, and I know that they are because I have all of them stored on my computer from where i copied them from, and I can see them in the rockbox file manager.
