Your songs' levels should be right in the file. You should adjust the EQ based on the speakers/headphones attached, rather than tweaking it per song as you play. This isn't ideal for battery life or user experience.

If you're needing to change them constantly, fix the songs so that you don't need to. 0 key presses is the minimum possible, and can actually be attained. :)
