clip+ freezes randomly

the playback on my clip+ will freeze randomly...  usually in the middle of or right after the first song that's played.   never really worked properly.  i can get the screen to come on and it will time out but all buttons are unresponsive and i have to hold down the power button and reboot

I mean, does it freeze only when it plays from microSD card ?

odd i have been refreshing t his page for days and never saw a reply or any of these new posts!   

yes after seeing these posts and testing i appear to have the same or a similar issues.  i have yet to freeze on the internal memory.   i am using a samsung 16gb sdhc micro sd
