Hey,

There has been countless forum posts and thousands of requests regarding Rockbox on the iPod classics and recently the freemyipod reverse-engineering team have started to port their low level bootloader to the Classics. the 1G is working, with an installer coming and the 2G/3G shouldn't be very far behind.

Id like to see the Rockbox Community support this awesome team... this has been something lots of people have been waiting a very long time for and Id love to see the rockbox community offer our support.

Let's work together and bring rockbox to the classics... and let's free our iPods.

Ah... TheSeven who is one of the freemyipod guys is a very active rockbox developer (which is probably why its the first option in the menu in your screenshot!)

rockbox ports arnt done by request, they are done by people who want to do it... what can you contribute?
