Yes, I'm a noob to Linux, go ahead and have a chuckle as I am sure this question is easy to answer for most of you. I've also never used Debian, I have very limited experience with centOS, and Ubuntu, and those I don't have to entirely rely on the CLI, so forgive me, I am trying to learn.
I have the source code for rockbox on my USB HDD. I'm trying to use that on another computer running VMware Debian rockbox image off the official page, this machine is not online capable (don't ask, long story with my machine setup right now). Bottom line, I am not able to download source on the same machine running VMware to compile. I try to go into sda, sda1-xx and they all say directory not found or whatever. I also checked media, its not there. I just need to copy this source off my USB hdd onto the VMware disk image so I can compile it. I feel like an idiot not being able to find and access it. I am selecting to connect the disk through the VM controls and it does say connected. Help, and feel free to laugh as well
