Brand New Cowon iAudio x7 . How long until there is a rockbox for it?

Hey. I used the iAudio x5 for a very long time, and I absolutely LOVED the rockbox for it.  The Cowon UI has never been that great, but they're open source; which makes me feel better because I know there will eventually be a rockbox for it.

With that said.  A few weeks ago the x7 came out.

160 GB.  Touch screen.  Nice 4.3 inch wide video display.  About how long does it take rockbox to get crackin' on a new gadget?  I figure rockbox could do some amazing things with the x7.

Is there any reason for me to believe that the x7 won't be able to be re-programmed like the x5 could?  That would suck.  One of the things I loved best about the cowon line, is that all there stuff was open source.

Perhaps you're unaware but this is a volunteer project, so nothing will happen unless someone volunteers to do the necessary work to port Rockbox to this player.  Please read the sticky in the New Ports forum.

Check back in 6 months and see if anyone is working on it.  And next time search before asking about a port to [random device].
