Micro SD 32gb Compatibility
(1/1)
Bruiser13:
I have a Sansa 250r v.1 that works great with a 16gb micro card.
Recently purchased a 32gb micro card and it has problems. I copied all the songs to the disk, however when the MP3 player updated the database, it showed only a small portion of the files, and the files that weren't shown deleted. System info, however, shows the unused portion of the disk space properly.
Question: Is my player capable of handling this 32gb micro sd card, or is the card I purchased just defective? Thanks!

Does your PC see those files when you put the card back in?
Bruiser13:
No, the pc doesn't seem to show the files. I think there's a good chance that it's a bad card. There's a lot of bad ones out there. I bought it on eBay. Just wanted to verify if someone knew if the player could handle it. Thanks.

I would never buy an SD card from ebay. So many of them are fakes.

If you format and still have problems, I would assume bad card. Rockbox is supposed to work with up to 32GB.
I grabbed a Patriot 16GB (class 4) from newegg for like $28. Not a bad deal and works great.
(Using E250 by the way).
