Duplicate entries in Database

Roseweave:
The Database is nearly useless for playback now as there are anywhere between 1 and 4 copies of each track. Updating the database the first time was a nightmare, I had to reset several times and it froze a couple of times doing so.

I have a Sansa Clip+ with the latest Rockbox, the 4 Gig model with an 8 gig MicroSD.

If you search the forums for "duplicate" you will see that this has been discussed quite a bit before.   Maybe one of the workarounds posted in the bug report will help.
