Assuming Sandisk did a similar thing like on the old (v1) c200 I have, then the example music files were put on the player in MTP mode. On the c200 you could even find the files but not really recognise them through Windows explorer as they were renamed to something cryptic and put into some subsubfolder of "system\mtpcontent" or the like. You can get to them more easily using the Windows MediaPlayer.
Again - if similar to the c200 - those files are not found in the Rockbox database as their file extension is changed in a way that the database doesn't recognise them as music files (and it's not desirable because there will also be more files with the same extension that go along with them and which really are no music files). I don't think you can have both: files "hidden" in such a way and normally use Rockbox.

I have my windows set to see hidden files. I want the files were hidden only for windows, not for the sansa itself. I now that if you copy the files in mtp mode then if you put the device in msc you can't see the files in windows, that si fantastic, but i want to do something to the files were hide for windows in the both modes (MTP and MSC) and not for the sansa.
Thanks
