Rockbox works on G6??

Right. Am looking at it now. It is the 80 GB and glossy black, and not the standard flat black for the G5. I always thought that the G5 only came in flat black, and the G6 was in glossy black.

Anyway, could not live w/out my RockBox. Thanks for all.

The iPod Video is glossy. Apple has a webpage for identifying your iPod. It may help you more concretely identify which model iPod you're looking at.

To be more specific, the iPod Video is a fairly glossy white or black, with a thick transparent plastic coating over the top which makes it much more reflective. The iPod Classics have metal fronts with a metallic finish.
