sansa fuze mpg encode
(1/1)
rdunkle:
I am using RB 3.7.1 on a Sansa Fuze v2.
I have been working with ffmpeg to encode some files from a DVD.
Here is the command line I use:
ffmpeg -i VTS_01_1.VOB -vcodec mpeg1video -b 150k -s 224x176 -ac 2 -ar 44100 -aspect 4:3 out.mpg
The audio portion is about 2 seconds out of sync with the video.
The out.mpg file plays correctly on the computer but out of sync audio on the Fuze.
soap:
The Fuze v2 will possibly struggle on 29.997fps full-screen video.
A couple of ideas (actually in reverse order of what you should try):
1 - IF your DVD is 29.997 fps do a pull down and convert to 23.976
2 - If the audio is preceding the video, turn on the "Skip frames" option in the mpegplayer options. This should allow the occasional frame to be discarded. This can probably be left on safely.
3 - If the video is ahead of the audio try the "limit FPS" option in the mpegplayer options.
