Tracks doubled in database

I've got every track twice in my database on my sansa clip v2. Why is that so, and how can i change it?

Initialize your database.....that should fix it. :)

I had this too today; Fuze v2, latest release build. Rebuilding the database from scratch fixed it.

I experience this problem of duplicate entries really often (taking into account it should never happen), like two or three times a week.

The short-term solution I found for this was initializing the Database (Main Menu -> Options -> General Options -> Database -> Initialize Now) and restarting the player twice as it tells to. After that, the Database is updated and without duplicates.

This is a bug and it's reported as FS#8414 if I am not wrong... it is old, but still exists and it seems it is related to database auto-update option, as said on a comment of that bug report...

Yes, I can confirm this! I rarely use the auto-update feature, but yesterday I did and that's when the doubled tracks started to appear.
