Problem with bootloader file duing install

(1/1)

Jagalives:
Trying to install on a Sansa Clip v2: Firstly, from the instruction manual it links to firmware, a bootloader & some program, but the firmware is for xx.xx.35 (which I tried to use unsuccesfuly) but all the instructions are for xx.xx.32 (which my player is).

I found a 02.01.35 firmware with some googling and tried that. It got farther than the other firmware but still didn't work. error log said:

*****************************************************************
Downloading bootloader file
Download finished (cache used).
[ERR]  Model name "clv2" not found in C:/Users/"user_name"/AppData/Local/Temp/qt_temp.da4776

Could not load C:/Users/"user_name"/AppData/Local/Temp/qt_temp.da4776
*****************************************************************

Next I tried to use the manual install and it said:
[ERR]  Could not open bootloader-clipv2.sansa for reading
[ERR]  Could not load bootloader-clipv2.sansa

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?     I should note the mkamsboot.exe is x32 and I'm running x64, but that shouldn't matter right? i mean it ran, it said the problem was the bootloader file.

Thanks in advance.
