Rockbox uninstalls after plugging Clip v2 via USB
(1/1)

Hi, I managed to install RockBox on my Sansa Clip v2 and it works great, seamless playback and everything ;D
However, when I plug my Clip back into the computer via USB the device automatically switches to MTP mode and once I unplug it the old firmware by itself...
Is there any solution for this :)?

This sounds like the player simply reboots into the Original Firmware for USB connection. I would be surprised by any way Rockbox could uninstall itself (besides, it would be pointless since we have an installer for that which can also uninstall Rockbox). Please check the manual: http://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-sansaclipv2/rockbox-buildch3.html#x5-280003.1.3

The only way it could be switching to MTP mode is if you had it in auto-detect to begin with, and not MSC like you should be using.
