iPod Nano 2nd Gen and revision 28618

<< < (2/2)

Chronon:
I think that the presence of the ADC has been known for quite a while.  You can check back through the revisions on that wiki page to see when it was added.

I don't know anything specific about what input ports are connected to the ADC.

Does anybody know what is still to do in order to make recording work?
I'd like to see 100% support on audio on iPod Nano2G (currently it's at 80%, playback only), nevertheless, for the fun of having the possibility to record even if I just don't use it.
I'd like to help wherever as possible under my fairly low C coding knowledge (however I have developed in other languages before), but I need more information than what is provided on the wiki, specifically what has been done yet and what needs to be done, as well as other important informations as datasheets.

iPodLinux didn't have a working port for nano2G, so I don't think anything can be learned/ported from it, and unfortunately there aren't not any more alternatives to retailOS on Nano2G other than Rockbox.

saratoga:
I don't think you're going to be able to help.

OK, I'll keep watching for news then :)
