Hi everyone. I installed rockbox with the 3.7 installer but now I notice there is a dark line across the lcd screen. It's there even when the player is off. It looks like it's a line of dead pixels.

I uninstalled rb and it's still there. Is it my imagination or was there a line there all along? ???

It's very noticeable under sunlight. Here is a picture of what I see.

It was there all along.  Your player has a dead space between the two different colors OLEDs.
