Rockbox Ports are now being developed for various digital audio players!
I was on a build that was a few weeks old. When I installed the 3.7 release, my estimated battery life went down. I installed the current build from yesterday and the battery life is the same as the one that is a few weeks old. Does the 3.7 release actually have a shorter battery life, or is it just an issue with the reporting? Isn't the release build one of the current builds that is know to be good?
I could be imagining it but it feels like the battery life is less for me on iRiver H300 series when using Firmware 3.7
Without any tests, I can tell you - 3.6 for definite.

Probably, but would people even believe it if proper benchmark tests were carried out?
Lol, some people are very difficult to please.
Although I am fairly sure the life is less...<snip>
No, some people just want to be able to clearly see that other people have backed up their claims/suspicions with facts.Right now all you have is a hunch, and forgive people for not trusting your powers of perception but Rockbox does come with the battery bench plugin so that you are able to run battery benchmark tests, so it isn't like you need to do a lot to back up your claims.
