now when i open the ipod i get a msg to connect it to itunes for restore..and i dont have access to my songs-photos..
in itunes i can only do restore, but obviously i cannot access my mp3s..
also when i connect the ipod on the pc, im not getting the normal screen, but some more "minimal" style, just black and white "Do not disconnect", or "OK to disconnect"..
Im on XP x32
P.S.
in the root folder of the ipod it installed the PSGroove(which i deleted and nothing happened)
and there is a file loader.cfg :
--- Code: ---
Apple OS @ ramimg
Rockbox @ (hd0,1)/.rockbox/rockbox.ipod
Disk Mode @ diskmode
Sleep @ standby
PSGroove @ (hd0,1)/PSGroove/rockbox.ipod
--- End code ---
..which i deleted, edited, but nothing worked..
any ideas? 8)
thx anw guys ;)
saratoga:
These are the rockbox forums, they're support for our software running on the supported targets listed on the front page. Since you have some software not from us on a device we don't even have rockbox running on, you're in the wrong place. I suggest asking whoever wrote that tool, or a generic Apple support forum. They'll know a lot more about the problem then people here (who tend to not use devices that don't run rockbox!)
That said, most Apple devices have an emergency disk mode that you can use to get files off a player and then restore it with iTunes. I'd try googling that and see where it takes you.
