Is this bug or just feature missing?

iPod Video 30gb. Rockbox 3.7
When I put my device on sleep timer, expl. 40min. and when I turn on back after device go sleep, I can't find any bookmark.  :-[

hmm...
I just put my iPod to english language from russian and noticed translation error!!!
Bookmark on Stop in russian sounds like bookmark on pause!!! surely I put on OFF, because I don't need make bookmark everytime I push pause!!!

You may file a bug report about the translation error if you like.  If you would like to provide a new translation, we always welcome updated lang files: http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/LangFiles

Back to the current matter: Do things work as expected when you enable "bookmark on stop"?

No effect  :-[ I put sleep timer for 10 min. now come back, turn on, go to recent bookmarks NO, try to play from folder No ask me about load recent bookmark.

This is a known issue inasmuch as I know about it. :)

handle_auto_poweroff calls audio_stop before it powers off, so the bookmarking process concludes there is no current playback position to save. This is not entirely obvious to fix because it needs to handle the case where the device is plugged in and thus can't be shut down; just removing the call to audio_stop would fix the normal case but not that one.
